I'm sad, it's true. I read the book and it took my breath away. I don't understand Karin's decision in this book and that she made it two or three books before this one was written.
I read the spoiler letter after the last page and then I read the bonus chapter and it made the whole decision even worse. A novel filled with gripping headline events such as racism, crime, drugs, greed, money, prison, poverty and death. This woman can use real life drama and weave it with a story line from hell and characters you will love forever. The roller coaster ride into Hades and back leaves you screaming for more until the sucker punch.
I don't know when I will get over this one and if Genesis will be an easy read or a hard book to pick up, I will cross that road when it gets here.
Nature Girl by Carl Hiaasen
Was a kooky, charming look at a bi-polar Mom just trying to make ends meet without her dinners being interupted by telemarketers. Just Boyd's luck he happened to have Honey on his call list. Here is a woman bound and determine to shake some sense into his sorry ass and teach him some manners. Add a few other peeps into this vacation getaway and its a romp in The Ten Thousand Islands in the Everglades, Florida gone so so wrong. Just rewards are reap by those who deserve. Honey wins all around!

To the well-organised mind, death is but the next great adventure. Albus Dumbledore
