I have started Beautiful Lies and then I hope to read 2nd Chance... But I went to the library and picked up four more books to add to my list. I don't think I will ever get caught up and I'm not so sure that is really a problem. LOL! It might be if a bookaholic was real.....isn't it though?
So the new additions to my reading frenzy:
Dark Harbor - Stuart Woods #12
Trunk Music - Michael Connelly #5
Milk and Honey - Faye Kellerman #3
Pacific Vortex - Clive Cussler #1
My January is looking good for how many books I have devoured. I hope to get to an even 10 for the month and then keep up this count for each month for the year. That will put me way over my total read for last year.
Books I am waiting on from the library
Weekend Warriors - Fern Michaels #1
The Killing Hour - Lisa Gardner #3
Pieces of My Sister's Life - Elizabeth Joy Arnold
Horrible News!!!!!:
Governor Chet Culver is proposing a cut in 2009 for all the libraries in Iowa! To read more about this awful event go to: http://www.legis.state.ia.us/findleg/
and then send a note telling him this is a terrible thing to do to education for the kids and adults. Libraries are wonderful facilities to many individuals who are unable to buy the books they want to read, plus it opens up so many new and exciting authors that we are not always aware of. Stop the Madness Mr. Culver please!

The reflections and histories of men and women throughout the world are contained in books.... America's greatness is not only recorded in books, but it is also dependent upon each and every citizen being able to utilize public libraries. — Terence COOKE (1921-1983)
Thanks for reading with me my friends! Peace and God Bless, Dena
